Distinguish between aluminum foil and aluminized film

Usually, plastic composite flexible packaging made of aluminum foil and aluminized film is called aluminum foil packaging, which is often difficult to distinguish. Here are six kinds of violations for identification of aluminum foil and aluminized film: viewing, hand feeling, folding, twisting, knife scraping and burning.

1、 Watch: the brightness of the packaging aluminum layer is not as bright as that of the aluminized film, that is, the packaging of aluminum foil is not as bright as that of the aluminized film. Aluminum foil has strong light shielding property, while aluminum plated film has poor light shielding property and can pass through strong light. Because the brightness of aluminized film is bright, on the contrary, the reflectance of aluminum foil is not as good as that of aluminized film. The aluminum foil packaging is silver white or silver gray, and the aluminum film packaging is silver yellow or silver black.

2、 Feel: the feel of aluminum foil packaging is thick and crisp, heavy, and the feel of aluminum film packaging is lighter and softer than that of aluminum foil packaging.

3、 Folding: aluminum foil packaging is easy to fold out dead folds and dead marks, and the aluminized film will not fold into dead folds and dead marks, and will rebound soon.

4、 Twisting: the aluminum foil packaging is not easy to rebound after twisting, and the aluminum layer will break; When the aluminum coated film package is twisted, the kink will pop up quickly, and the aluminum layer will not have obvious cracks.

5、 Knife scraping: aluminum foil can be scraped off with a knife, while the aluminized film will be transparent without scraping off the aluminum layer.

6、 Fire burning: aluminum foil is not easy to burn with fire, and the aluminum layer will roll back. After burning, the aluminum foil packaging will leave gray aluminum slag; When the aluminized film is burned, different plastic films can burn, and there is no residue of aluminum slag.
