Printing problems of aluminum foil composite film and aluminum plated composite film

In gravure printing, it is often impossible to print the colors designed by the designers, so there will be a situation of printing one order by one, and the loss is quite heavy. After experts' analysis, it turns out that this is inseparable from the background color of the composite film. In this paper, the background colors of several commonly used composite films are introduced in detail.

Aluminum foil composite film

It is believed that many people are not very clear about the color of aluminum foil. In fact, aluminum foil is gray. When white printing film is coated with aluminum foil, it can be clearly seen that the composite color is gray white. Although aluminum foil has the disadvantage of gray, it also has the advantage of metallic luster. When there is no white background, printing ink directly on aluminum foil can produce the gloss effect that paper printing does not have.

Aluminized composite film

Aluminum plating has a brighter luster than aluminum foil. The background color of the aluminized composite film is also gray, and its background color is also related to the thickness of the aluminized layer. If the thickness of the aluminized layer is too thin and the light transmittance is too good, the thin part of the aluminized layer after composite will be gray, even a little black.

Transparent composite film

The transparent composite film does not have the problem of graying in aluminum plating or aluminum foil compounding, but its overall effect may be affected by the contents of the package, and also by the color of the other side of the packaging bag. Some transparent composite bags feel good before making bags, but after making bags, due to the influence of the color on the back of the bags, the hue and saturation have changed.

White

There are generally two kinds of white, yellowish white and bluish white. For bright and high-purity purple, do not use yellowish white ink as the background color or as a diluent, otherwise the color will darken. Some characters are usually printed with a direct pressing background color. At this time, the background color may affect the color of the characters, making the hue and saturation of their colors change more or less.
